What is a digital business card?
A web page for your contact details that opens from a QR code or a link. People scan it with their phone camera, then tap to WhatsApp you, call, email, or save you straight into their contacts. There is no app for them to install.
Can I describe my business in more detail?
Yes. Below your card, every PoteCard has a page for your business: an About section for your story, a list of your services with notes like prices, testimonials from customers, and your opening hours and location. People see it when they scroll down after scanning your card.
How does PoteCard make my card?
You take a photo of your paper business card. PoteCard reads your name, title, company, phone, email and brand colors from it and builds your digital card in our templates. You check the details, add anything extra like links, services or testimonials, then publish. If the photo can't be read, you get a pre-filled form instead.
Do I have to pay before I see my card?
No. You can create and edit your card for free. You are only asked to pay when you publish it for the first time.
How do I pay?
By card: Standard is $5 a month and Premium is $10. Every plan can be paid monthly or yearly, and a year costs 10 months, so you get 2 months free.

At your own address, like yourname.potecard.com. That link and the QR code keep working when you update your details, so printed QR codes never go out of date.

Yes. Every card has a Save contact button that downloads a vCard, which works on both Android and iPhone.
Can I see who opens my card?
Every plan shows how many times your card was scanned in the last 7 days. Premium and Teams add detailed scan analytics.
Can I get cards for my whole team?
Yes. With the Teams plan you invite your team, lock one color and font across every card, and get a company directory page listing everyone. Teams is KES 200 per person per month and is currently available with M-Pesa in Kenya.
